Does the car bottom out?

YES, ALWAYS

  • Increase the ride height or stiffen the springs

NO, NEVER

  • Lower the ride height or soften the springs

YES, ONLY AT HIGH SPEED

  • Nothing to complain about!
Spring Setup 2/3
What’s the ride height like? Is the ride height at the front lower then the rear?

FRONT OF THE CAR IS MUCH LOWER

  • Decrease the rear ride height or increase the front ride height until the rear is slightly higher then the front.

FRONT OF THE CAR IS SLIGHTLY LOWER

  • The ride height is OK

FRONT OF THE CAR IS THE SAME THE REAR

  • Decrease the front ride height or increase the rear ride height until the front is slightly lower then the rear

FRONT OF THE CAR HIGHER

  • Decrease the front ride height or increase the rear ride height until the front is slightly lower then the rear

What is the overal feeling of the car?

MINOR UNDERSTEER

  • Increase the rear springs or reduce the front springs
  • Increase the rear anti-roll bar or decrease the front anti-roll bar

MINOR OVERSTEER

  • Increase the front springs or decrease the rear springs
  • Increase the front anti-roll bar or decrease the rear anti-roll bar

MAJOR UNDERSTEER

  • Increase the rear springs or reduce the front springs with a large step
  • Increase the rear anti-roll bar or decrease the front anti-roll bar with a large step

MAJOR OVERSTEER

  • Increase the front springs or decrease the rear springs with a large step
  • Increase the front anti-roll bar or decrease the rear anti-roll bar with a large step

NEUTRAL

  • Nothing to complain about!
