Tire Setup Guide

This is the setup guide for managing your tires. You can also use the free setup development guide, which you can find here.

The more contact the rubber has to the tarmac, the more grip you produce. Due to chamber, toe, tire pressure, and tire compound, tires can have different temperatures.

You have to keep a close watch on the tire setup each time you change your setup and every time the weather in your game changes.

We measure tires at the outside (O), middle (M), and inside (I). The difference between each may vary around 5 degrees. So a tire with a temp of 85(O) 80(M) 80(I) is okay.

Take a look at your tires. From outside to middle to inside, what is the temperature output? (O)utside, (M)iddle, (I)nside

O IS MORE THAN 10 DEGREES HOTTER THEN M

  • Increase the negative camber

O, M AND I ARE ALL TOO COLD

  • Change to softer compound

O, M AND I ARE ALL TOO HOT

  • Change to a harder compound

I IS MORE THAN 10 DEGREES HOTTER THEN M

  • Decrease negative camber

M IS MORE THAN 10 DEGREES HOTTER THEN O AND I

  • Decrease tire pressure

M IS LESS THAN 10 DEGREES HOTTER THEN O AND I

  • Increase tire pressure
